@grt the way I understand it (mostly from reading this whole topic), there is a point total you need to reach in order to rank up. They don't publicize the point totals though, so you just need to continue interacting (productively) with the site and you'll be awarded points.Some (potentially interesting) observations from this day one beginner: you can submit photos, comment on patterns (this might be a change from early on as I saw people said you couldn't do that until second rank), rank patterns (though, apparently as a beginner I can ONLY give patterns 5 stars currently 🤪), add patterns to your to-do list, love patterns, post to the forums, and probably some other things I have not attempted yet. One thing unavailable to beginners is the chat... perhaps that opens with the advanced rank? |
