I was looking at some bracelets I want to do but it's just a picture. How do you know how to arrange the strings and how many colors and all that??? I want to do the camouflage one for example. #11602

You are going to want to look at the tutorial for multicolor alphas. There is also a tutorial for #1737 which describes the process.

For #11602 you will have 21 base strings. Since the pattern is random it doesn't matter what color these base strings are as they won't be seen. You will be using the string substitution method the whole time. This basically means you will have the 4 colors in the pattern hanging loose behind your bracelet and you will pick the color up as you need it. Therefore the back of the bracelet will be messy.
