Hi, when I create the alpha pattern, everything looks perfect except that the shape I create is elongated and the knots aren't square; they look elongated. How can I fix this?

This is completely normal when tying alphas.You can try to - use thicker base strings or double your base strings - make your knots a little looser - push each row of knots up with a ruler - skip some repeating rows or change the pattern in other ways |
