Normal or alpha?If normal, are you doing both halves of each knot? If alpha, does it curl because the loose leading strings in the back are pulled very tight? |

Does it curl while you're wearing it ? Sometimes the knot pressure helps the bracelet stay sturdy. However when you wear it contact with water or sweat my distort it and lead it to twist around your wrist.

@Jw8swiftie I don't know exactly how to explain it but it kind of twisted it has not gotten wet and i attached to a keychain thing, so it hasn't been worn

Is the pattern curving upon itself? Does taping the thing out help ? I must admit I have never encountered that before. Do you keep you knot pressure constant throughout the bracelet ?

@digItal6 In the top right corner of the pattern, it says 'add a photo' (to the right of 'rate pattern'). I always upload photos from my phone, so you can use the website on your phone or download a photo of your bracelet to your laptop then add it from your files!

@digItal6 Also, the moderators have to manually go through and approve the photo you submit, so don't be surprised that it doesn't appear immediatley. It can take a few minutes or up to 24 hours as there are often lots and lots of things uploaded everyday, so please be patient! They're volunteers who do this for free, and this site couldn't be run without them! They may decline your photo and put a note for you to change something, but try to avoid that by double checking the guidelines before you submit.

I just reviewed your photo and I think I now understand what you mean. I think if you put the bracelet under a heavy book for a bit, it will probably lie flat(ter). The reason why it curls up is that you probably pulled up while tying the bracelet. |

The bracelet will generally curve in the direction you are pulling in while tying, so I would try to keep the bracelet as straight as possible while tying.I think pulling to the left or the right is a bigger issue. It's the reason why many candystripes curve to the left or the right. Pulling up should be generally fine but if the bracelet is curving up a lot and you can't fix that by putting it under a heavy book or even wet-blocking it, then you might want to avoid it. |

You could also try ensuring the bracelet stays down whilst you make it by moving the bracelet up and retaping every 10 rows or so. I personally use a clipboard and bulldog clip for this reason as I can frequently move the bracelet up so it mostly stays down, and the bracelet is stable and set in place!
