In tutorials its labeled as a keychain and hang on a metalic... mounting. Im sorry for my language, idk what its called. The question is that cam i use something else? for example use little rope?

It depends on what you want to make.If you want to make a keychain, I recommend using a keyring. It doesn't matter if it's a D-shaped keyring like the one in the tutorial or a regular keyring. For a wallhanging, I recommend something like a barbecue skewer, a popsicle stick, a wooden dowel.
