Any preferences for patterns?

For example, is there any preference between f/b and fb/bf knots? And is continuity in order between same colored strings important? I want to make patterns but haven't made a lot of bracelets yet, so I'd like to know anything I should look out for from someone more experienced ^^ |

Most people prefer f and b knots over fb and bf knots. If a pattern has lots of fb and bf knots, it can't be segment-knotted as well as a pattern that has mainly f and b knots. I think f knots are probably slightly more liked than b knots because for right-handed people they are slightly easier to knot.
