Strange thread behavior

Ok so I started doing my first bracelet today(a chaevron), and It's going pretty well, but sometimes there's a thread that does a strange thing. I'll try to explain it: I'll use pink and black as example. After I do the second half of a pink knot ( forward or backward) in the black thread and pull the pink thread that I need for the next knots, the black thread shows up and even if I did the knots with the pink one it look like I did the second half with the black one (idk if this make sense). Sometimes it happends, sometimes it Doesn’t, sometimes i do it the same way as I sis before and it looks fine. |

You can pull on the thread that shows up until it hides back again.

Make sure you are holding the black string tight while making the knot with the pink string. If the black string isn't held tightly, the knot can flip.

I encountered this problem as a beginner. When pulling/tightening your knots pull upwards not towards the side!! This helps keep them neat!!
