I’ve noticed some people make a smooth (staircase?) loop at the beginning of a bracelet, I’m wondering why they do this and how you put on a bracelet like that? Thanks! |

@Moi13 I’m pretty sure what you’re talking about is a teardrop loop. I’m not sure about others, but I do it because it looks good. Depending on how you end your bracelet, there are different ways to tie it. On the other end of the bracelet, you can add a button. If the loop is made so that the button just fits through it and won’t easily slide out, then you’ve made a closure so that people can take the bracelet on/off and not have to worry about tying it. The other option is to tie it on and the best way for me to describe tying it is just tie it like normal but go through the loop and only use the string(s) that were not the teardrop loop to tie it. Look up “tear drop loop” on YouTube my fav tutorial is by “masha knots” she has so many good tutorials and I learned most of my techniques from her
