when to tie knots row by row instead of in sections?

not really more to say other than whats already in the title but to phrase it in more detail when following a pattern when should you tie knots by doing all the ones in a row and then doing the same in the next row rather than tying in sections (like when you do a chevron and tie it v by v instead of row by row)?

It's up to you. Some people prefer row by row, others prefer segments.You should tie row by row - if you prefer it - if it helps you keep your bracelets straighter - if segment-knotting confuses you You should segment-knot - if you prefer it - if you want to save time Generally patterns with lots of fb and bf knots might be more suitable for knotting row by row because there aren't big segments. |
