i love the straight edge technique, the one where you add an extra string on either side, but i started segment knotting instead of row by row and i want to know if there is any way to use the straight edge technique when segment knotting, and if so, how?

Yes, you can do the straight edges technique while segment-knotting.The straight edges technique adds additional knots at the left and right edge. These knots are the beginning or the end of a segment or they are a segment of their own. Can you describe what exactly you were struggling with when you were trying to do this? Is it a specific pattern you tried? |
