when making bracelets I make the knots super tight but this ends up cutting the sides of my fingers does this happen to anyone else?

this happens to me too unfortunately the only thing i’ve found to combat this is to keep doing it and eventually your fingers build up more of a tolerance just make sure to take breaks every now and again srry ik it’s not that helpful but ik ur pain twin

It happens to me to but I sometimes put tape in my fingers where I know it is happening and then it doesn’t hurt

Yeah, I've had rubs on my fingers from multiple different crafts. Best thing is to over time develop calluses or cover them whenever you knot if you don't want to do that. I will say, after three years of knotting or some other craft that uses similar string tension almost every day, it's gotten a lot better but still is painful sometimes.
