hello!! I’m unsure on how to read this, I’ve tried flipping the pattern horizontally in order to make it a keychain but I’m just unsure of how that’ll work considered it’s shaped and the bottom is confusing me… I really wanna try out this pattern it’s everything lol, I would love if someone were to help! Pattern: #192395 |

Thank you! But I’m aware of how to read patterns, it’s just this particular one I was confused on since it’s shaped and technically sideways for keychains!

Tie the pattern based on the pattern grid instead of the knotting instruction. You need 24 instead of 18 base strings. In rows 1 to 6, you make the first and last knot around three base strings at once. In rows 7 to 12, you make the first and last knot around two base strings at once. In row 12, the pattern starts to split. You need individual leading strings for the left and right half. In rows 12 to 14, the last knot to the left of the centre and the first knot to the right of the centre are made around two base strings at once. In rows 15 to 18, the last knot to the left of the centre and the first knot to the right of the centre are made around three base strings at once. |
