Is there any way to get straight edges in alpha patterns. I’m trying my first one and all the edges aren’t straight.

You can try using the straight edges technique (bf knots on the left edge, fb knots on the right edge).

@Eftichia if you use the flat alpha technique for your colour switches, it won't separate.

I also have a question about the clean back alpha technique. Is it normal that in the back of my bracelet the good looking circle is instead an oval ? Even if I push up the rows over and over it's doesn't work.

@Alicia0214 this is normal for alphas in general. Knots are higher than wide. You can tie looser, push the knots up or use thicker base strings/ double your base strings. |

@halokiwi thanks. So, the must important is what you have to the front 👍

@Alicia0214 the knots have the same size on the front and the back, but they do look different.

@halokiwi After a few rows made, I realize something very useful. When the knots are loose, they can still move even after a full row. Yes ?

Sorry everyone to say this, but I’m furtored to see my great work has full of holes. So sadly, I decided to go back 10 rows and try again better. 😓😡
