obviously I can search this up, but, what dowels do you guys recommend?? And where do you purchase ‘em! also I wonder if you can get those skewers and just cut the pointy end and sand it , does that work? 🤔🤔

I think you could use skewers. Basically any stick-shaped item will do. Popsicle sticks can also work for smaller wallhangings or if you want something more rustic, even a literal stick from outdoors can work. Most craft stores should have dowels. |

I use skewers for my wall hangings and they hold up perfectly fine. I use a small-ish pair of those weed trimmers to cut them (but I’m sure you can also just use a normal pair of scissors and be careful when cutting). and then sand down the edges so that they aren’t sharp and don’t split. I find that that works pretty well and I don’t have any issues but you can also use some clear nail polish on the raw edges of the skewer after sanding to really make sure it won’t split if you really want.
