I heard about segment knotting. Is it faster? And also are the results better or smth because i keep hearing people talk about it and they all say its a life changer idk why

Segment knotting is when instead of tying your knots row by row (all knots of row 1, then all knots of row 2 and so on), you tie in diagonals as much as possible instead.

If you have tied the candystripe #1 and you knotted it stripe by stripe, you have already segment knotted.

Segment knotting is faster than knotting row by row because you can keep one string in your hand and only grab one new string instead of grabbing two new strings for each knot.

The result of knotting row by row can be a little straighter but generally there isn't a difference in how it turns out.
