I recently made an Aztec bracelet and I went in the pool with it. after I was out and it dried, all the color was gone or muted. Is there any way to restore the color/ protect future bracelets from this happening without just taking them off?

To prevent it I would use some type of wax when you are done whether u dip it or paint it on, that way it becomes kinda like a waterproof wall on the bracelet
