Hey guys!I was wondering how you guys look at the pattern you're currently working on? I usually print mine out, but sometimes that get's expensive. Is it easy to look at the computer and follow along on where you are in the pattern? How would you bookmark your spot if you have to stop? Thank you! |

hi!! i always put the pattern on my laptop, and zoom in until i’m at the row where i’m at if that makes sense. if i want to continue at a later point, i just take a picture with my phone and circle the knot and row number where i’m at : p

Hey! I also just look at my laptop. I find it easier since the screen is already propped up for me to look at and knot! Plus I don’t have to throw away any paper or use expensive printer ink for the colors!

I use the mobile app, so I just screenshot the pattern, then view it in my photos where I can zoom in and edit it and draw on it and stuff. I would love to print out all of my favorite patterns though and put them in a sketchbook or something where you can flip through them

You can use the computer, though sometimes I do lose my place and have to go through and figure out which row I'm on. If you have a public library near you, they often have free printers you could use to print patterns if you would like. (Or at least my library does)

It honestly depends on the size and complexity of the pattern. I only just recently began using my computer for patterns. I usually use either the paint application on my computer to cross off what has been done (the easiest option for normal) , or for alphas I upload it to cross floss and just use an unused color to mark off the completed sections.
