@die1012 hi! so i think any cute quick and easy patterns you make will sell great! like the greek wave for example, its easy, quick to make, and looks really nice! as for a price, i usually think about how much the supplies cost and how long it took to make. (like if i each spool of embroidery floss cost me 50 cents and its 2 meters long and i use 1 meter of the string then the minimum price should be 25 cents per string i use, then just add a dollar or two for every two hours it takes me to make the bracelet) or instead you can just make each bracelet from 1-5 dollars depending on the difficulty it is to make (like if it takes you a couple of minutes to make a candy stripe and you could crank out many, you could sell those on the cheaper end/if you sell alphas and those take longer to make and you'd probably have less in stock so in my opinion you should make bracelets that are harder to make or are like an alpha you should make those more pricy.

(also im kind of a beginner myself so if you don't like my strategy, my feelings won't be hurt if you don't follow or use them!)

ok i tried to help so byeee! ❤️ 🎉

@die1012 I also sell bracelets. I have a algorithm I use to price. I start with my number of strings multiplied by an estimated decimal price. Then multiply that by hours. Example would be 12 (#of strings) x .30 (price of strings, 30 cents) x 4 (hours. That gets me to roughly $14. Now you can tweak that rough price to what you think. For me, this example is based off pattern #128516, and for that specific pattern I’d -$2-3 from my calculated price. That’s really it! Hope this helps!

@idk_man- but doesn't that put the amount of strings into your multiplication twice?
The amount of strings affects not only the amount of strings but also the time you spend.

Let's stick with your example

12 x .30 x 4 = 14.4

if you had a 24 string bracelet, you'd probably need almost double the time:

24 x .30 x 8 = 57.6

That's 4 times the previous amount, because two of your factors have doubled.

I believe that it should be amount of strings x price per string + hours of work x hourly wage

You could for example do 12 x .30 + 4 x 2.5 = 13,6 to get a similar result for 12 strings

24 strings would then be 24 x .30 + 8 x 2.5 = 27,2 which would be exactly twice the amount

@halokiwi I hadn’t thought of that, I’m just getting started with selling, so I appreciate the feedback!
