Pick a challenge in the challenge section of the forum you want to participate in. Read the description of said challenge. It should tell you how to participate. If the host of the challenge did not give this information or you did not understand it, ask the host of the challenge.

Usually you just ask in the challenge forum topic you want to join “can I join?”, and say the pattern that you are going to do for the challenge. This is usually how it is, but it varies, so read the challenge description (the first post in the forum topic from the host). However, the official bi-weekly and monthly challenge you don’t have to ask to join and can just create your pattern, and when you post a picture of it you MUST put the challenge name in it
