I am doing a pattern (#152796) and it calls for 2 colors, but there is only one strand of one of the colors. I have only seen and done patterns with an even amount of strands for each color so I am able to fold one piece of string in half to make 2 strands and make a loop from there, so I’m not sure how to do this.

there's 5 strings of one color, 1 of the other if I'm right. What you do for that, (I've had this issue before) is you cut single pieces for 1 of the color that needs 5 pieces, and cut a single piece of the single color. Then you cut the 4 pieces of the color that needed 5 like normal. When you fold your pieces over to make a loop, you just put the single pieces with the loop, and just tie it like normal.TLDR: do it like normal, and for the single strings, cut it. When making the loop, just have the single strings with the normal strings. |

You could do ties on both ends instead of a loop on one end. I would even recommend it since the pattern is so thin. Or you could use this tutorial https://youtu.be/_IyGiKsjNJM?si=sAigx1p-YB-TDZ57 |
