How many string should I use to make an alpha bookmark?

Hello, I was wanting as my next project to be an alpha bookmark, yet I'm not too sure on how many strings to use, for I don't want it to be to wide or thin.If anyone can help, that would be amazing, thanks! ❤️ |

I would put the keyword "bookmark" in the search! I bet you will find some really cool patterns that were designed to be bookmarks!

I find anything between 20 to 30 good for bookmarks, but it also depends on your string size and how firm your knots are.

I recently did a bookmark with 21 base strings and loved the thickness. I normally don’t go under 18 because to me there is a fine line between bookmarks and bracelets that can easily be crossed.
