Ok so I know how to make the loop for alpha bracelets from Masha’s video, but in her video when she splits the base strings into two halves, she has 16 strings on each side, an even number. But say you had 18 strings, than each half is split into 9 and 9 which is an odd number and then each half comes out uneven. Do any of you guys have any tips?

I'm not sure if I understand your issue.

The pattern you want to do has 18 basestrings. That means you take 9 long strings and fold them in half to have 18 strings. You take your leadingstring and knot around all those strings at the point where you folded your 9 strings. You don't need to do anyting differently than you usually would.

If the amount of basestrings is uneven you leave the end of the leadingstring as a basestring. At least that's the technique I found that works for me.

Was that anywhere close to an answer for your question?

The two different halves have to be the same number of strings it doesn't matter if they are odd numbers

Masha has a tutorial for odd numbers too, so you should check that out!
