It depends on the size of your wrist. I usually do 130 cm for regular bracelets but for thicker is would add it but more.

Lol I don’t have the patience to measure out my thread in cms. I just use the “wingspan” method where each string is roughly half my wingspan (so from the middle of my chest to tips of my fingers). If I’m doing a loop I’ll use my full wingspan (so from fingertips to fingertips). When in doubt make them longer, you can always cut off extra.
