How do find the dmc numbers for the string colors on a pattern you like?

On the braceletbook website, click 'add a variation' to be able to see the hex codes of the strings.Find a website that transforms hex codes (or rgb values) into dmc colours. Use that to find matching dmc colours. You can also try to match by eye or simply use the colours you like. There won't be a dmc match for all colours you can see on your screen. It's also difficult to match screen colours to irl colours in general, because different screens show the same colour differently. |
