I want to make a bracelet that has 5 colors and the dimensions are 12 x 107. How do I know how many strings of each color I should start with?

This is an alpha pattern so the base strings are one color and then you have 5 colors that you add into the bracelet.

ooh i love ferrari! anyways, there are plenty of ways to start. of course, you'll need your 12 base strings to begin with. they can be any color you want, but i recommend that the last 2 are the same color as the first one used so that you can start the bracelet more easily. if you're using the lark's head knot, this is probably the best way to go. from there, you can just add on the colors as you go, so most likely, you won't need multiple strings of the same color but you will want to cut them pretty long (:
