my forward and backward knots look really different for some reason. like my backward knots look fine but then my forward knots don't like go on top of each other? idk how to explain it but they kinda line up on the base string and I can't figure out how to fix them.

Hi! I recommend maybe trying the first part of your forward knot a little tighter. Also, I think making a candy stripe bracelet with only forward knots would help to get some extra practice in.

My knots are separating from other knots. It looks like a fish net.

@gwen21 it sounds like a similar problem. I think you just have to knot the first part of your knot tighter so that they tie closer together. Finding the sweet spot with tension only comes with practice so just knotting!

I figured the problem out! for my forward knots I was putting the leading string (I think that's what it's called) behind the base string and making my knot like that. I just put the leading string on top of the base string then make the knot to make them look right.
