how to change dimension ?

sorry im new to using alpha patterns. im trying to crochet from an alpha pattern that already exists but i need different dimensions than the original pattern provided. is there anyway to change the dimensions? Or do i need to create a whole new pattern?

The dimensions tell you how many knots (or in your case stitches) are in a pattern.The dimensions of a pattern can't be changed. You could request someone to make you a bigger or a smaller version of the pattern you like. But it would be a new pattern. |

I tried to like edit the alpha pattern by creating a new patter but it all messed it up I don't know what to do because the pattern I wanna use is too big

@cathy600 can you give some more information about what you tried to do?Did you try to use "alpha from image"? If yes, you can just lower the size of the pattern. |
