I’m currently working on 27381 and my strings are getting super short and i’m no where near done. Is there a way to add in more string eventually without it looking wonky?

Are you familiar with Alpha's and the substitution method? You can use that method to add in more string, when the ones you are working with get too short. 🙂

cut a new piece of string and tape it down. Move it to where you want it underneath the pattern, and then just work it in. (and cut the old string) you might have to tie the backround string over it a few times to secure it

It’s a little tricky, but if you use the alpha substitution method @Someone_ said it’s holding the new string so it’s like it was there all along. Then with your free hand you make whatever knot you need... hope that helps! sorry if it was confusing.

When you’re using the alpha substitution method I always clip the new string down with a binder clip because it’s hard for me to use both hands
