I never understood what chat was supposed to be for. Is it just for friends or can anyone chat. Also, do you have to be friends with someone to chat with them....like facebook or something. I'm so confused, please explain??????

i guess its where you can ask for help with patterns and connect with other people. there are no private chatrooms, though.

Yes, its for little questions that you need a quick answer to, or for just saying hi and getting inspirations for bracelets. What I do in the chat is that I say hello to everyone ask how they are doing and then ask people for their favourite patterns etc. I always get a quick response, You just have to ask a reasonable question first 🙂 Not just write hi and wait for people to introduce themselves 🙂

@alicekitty basically you can talk to anyone and try to strike up a bracelet-based conversation, if you want to talk about something else with them, I suggest private message.
