@catlaand Masha Knots on YouTube (@Racoon) has a detailed tutorial on how to make keychains. It’s helpful and she also has a tutorial on how to make alphas if you don’t know how to make them.

I'm currently making a keychain! You start it normally, and then when you're done with your pattern, thread some middle strings through the keychain and carefully knot the base string across it. When you start the back of it. make sure you reverse the pattern, so that the orientation is correct when you reverse it
