how do i look up people to find friends?

the way i do it is i click my profile and in the top left corner there’s a users tab, click on that and add the username!

Just fyi- as a beginner you aren’t able to add friends by sending a friend request. If I’m not wrong, once you level up to advanced you should be able to send friend requests.
