Hello everyone I’ve been working on a keychain and keep having the problem of my knots popping through. I’m not quite sure how to explain it but basically when I go to tighten a knot the previous knot changes to the other color, I would greatly appreciate any tips on how to prevent this.

pull down the string that you’re not making the knot on. that and also perhaps make ur knots looser

The person before me pretty much explained it but yes1. Looser knots 2. pull string 3. try holding the string that goes up down when you do the knot😊 good luck with your keychain |

I'd recommend that you keep a consistent knotting tightness or looseness (there is a word for this, but I can't remember it right now! 🤦🏽♀️) Also, hold the strings more firmly when you come to changing colors.

Ive been told that one alphas looser knots are actually better so mabye try tying your knots looser.
