It’s really depends on what you like. Personally I use a lot of dmc thread normal, multi colored/coloured and occasionally sparkly thread. I don’t really recommend using sparkly thread because although it’s really pretty it’s really itchy and hard to work with, but again it’s what you like.

DMC thread is the highest quality but it is expensive so if you don't want to spend that much than you should use loops and threads.

Just I little tip on using prism thread if you get it...If you pull your knots reaaaaally tight, I have found that prism string breaks pretty easily. |

Hello, I would definitely recommend DMC. It's probably the best string I've used as it's soft and you can pull it apart to a desired thickness. Hope this helps!

I personally use the brand prism and some embroidery floss here and there. But I. Prefer not to use embroidery floss because it breaks easily which causes your hard work to go no where.

I recommend DMC because you can pull the string hard and I not break and you also have the most color choices.

Hello, @lemurbat! Some string I would suggest and personally love is DMC, JP Coats, Prism, and Anchor. I use these brands quite often, and I think they are pretty high-quality. I would find these on Amazon, or at Michaels. DMC is very popular in craft stores, and you can find it pretty much find it anywhere! I hope this helps. Happy knotting! 🙂- Crafty_K |
