whenever i try to make an alpha with the flat alpha technique, you can see my secondary color under the main color after switching colors. my knots are really tight

Whenever this happens to me, I always pull the secondary color really tight after making the knot with the main color until I can’t see it anymore.

Make sure to pull everything tight, and practice also helps a lot.

my advice would be to try and make your knots looser, I know it might not make sense but it'll help a lot ❤️ 🙂

@Grace_13 completely and absolutely agree with you 👍 @lilliang I use to have the same problem!!! Making the knots looser was a great solution!!! I’m learning alpha’s 👍 not to draw them but how to tie/knot them 😉
