hi!! every time i make a teardrop loop i tend to make it too short or long, therefore it distorts the start of the bracelet !! you can see in some of my photos, especially the orange blue and white one! i know you need to determine the length by how many strings you have, but i still have trouble. any tips? thank you!!

As I am making my loop, I occasionally bend it into the shape of a loop and eyeball it if it's big enough. If it looks to long to me, I'll just undo some knots. The more you make loops, the easier it should be to judge how big to make them ๐

what I did when before I had the eye for it was compare it to other bracelets that I've made previously. for example, if you want to make a loop for a 20 string bracelet, while your making the loop, bend it into shape and compare it to the width of a 20 string bracelet youve made in the past. hope this helps.
