how long should each string be?

i want to attempt a bigger project like: https://www.braceletbook.com/patterns/normal/26455/but before i start, i want to make sure my string is long enough. how do you determine that?? for reg friendship bracelets, 30~ inchs seem to be on point but not sure for this. I'd like it to be a book mark ๐ |

If the bracelet is for yourself, the string has to be from the fingers of your left hand to the shoulder of your right hand (basically the lenght of your arm to the opposite shoulder).

For a bookmark ,taking into consideration the thickness of the pattern, I think that 32 inches per string is fine.

Wingspan and fold it in half (to make 2 strings) if you have an odd amount of strings you can do half a wingspan per string
