How to do bookmarks?

The link won't work for me, but if it's an alpha you can just start it with a straight line right away and tie a few knots at the top like people do at the end of keychains (if you're not sure what I'm talking about you can look at my photos and see how I end some of the keychains). If it's a normal pattern you can always do a triangle end (even with an alpha you can).

If you search the pattern #43302, there are a lot of people like the 4th photo (the one of knoty-knot) that start like a different way

@madewmagic so far there only seems to be one tutorial for it... on YouTube by HandMade Leninhttps://youtu.be/wJDV7bfqZos but instead of cutting and gluing the extra ends, I would use a needle to thread each string under a few knots on the backside to hide and tuck them in better, then cut the ends off. 😊 |

if you want a flat edge and no loop, cut your string twice as long as you need it so you can fold it in half. then you take string and tape it horizontally across whatever you use(clipboard is what i use). take the base strings and fold it in half, place the loop under the string taped down and stick the ends through that loop and pull right. do that with all of your base strings and then start an alpha as normal. to make a loop on the inside, i followed a tutorial by valentina_lenin on instagram or HandMade Lenin on youtube
