For my pattern I have a singular purple string. How do I do a loop like that because you fold your strings in half. So that would make two purple strings but I only need one.

Check out Masha knot's or Alex's Innovation's videos on making a loop with an odd number of threads. I hope this helps! 🙂

I added an extra few inches to the single string, and then make a loop with that and cut the excess. I hope that makes sense

You can only make loops that use odd numbers of threads with embroidery floss though.

@Lizzie_Ann You can skip the string that you have only on the one side by doing the knot with the next string including the purple string in your bundle.

@Lizzie_Ann The previous answer was for the triangle ends question of yours in an other forum.
You start your loop with the colour you want it to be and you include in your bundle the string that is single. Put the long side of the string on the other side of the bundle and work your loop including the "end" of that single string.
