Hi guys! I'm having trouble with my bracelets... I always have gaps between my knots in 1-2-1-2 patterns. How do I get the knots placed correctly? I find if I just tie them really tight it doesn't quite work either... I'm getting really discouraged! I just want to make clean bracelets. Thank you for the help!

I think that it is pretty common to have holes in your bracelets when you first start (I know I did 😂) i just practiced all the time, and experimented with different knot tightnesses and then eventually I no longer had holes in my bracelets

Make sure that you tie the first half of your knot tighter than the second half. The first half is the one that controls where the knot is going to be placed, so if you're careful and you tie it nice and snug between the knots above it you can then tie the second half a little looser and it should sit nicely without gaps. It takes practice though! Play around with your knot tension and eventually you will find a way that works for you!

Try to tie the first knot tight enough so the holes close. After a while, this comes naturally and you won’t have holes anymore. Usually when knots are too loose, you can almost “stretch” the bracelet. For most people the knots get tighter as you get better and your bracelet won’t stretch/have holes
