@miliarball this is an alpha pattern. It uses only forward knots and backward knots, the same knots as in a normal pattern. To learn how to tie alphas, I recommend watching MashaKnots' video on the flat alpha technique. I am sure that there are also Spanish videos out there.
@Satomi19 the base strings 8inches to be safe and the leading strings whatever you feel is comfortable because you are going to add in new strings anyways!
