@Rhubarbmom Hi! To make mine I did not use the base strings to knot. I always carried the black and the white (or whichever two colors you use)! Hope this helps!
can i ask a question? do you carry both a black and a white and never use the base string whites to knot with? my first alpha was one with just a name where you used the base string color to write the name.
This will be my first Alpha. Masha knots recommended to choose an: under 10 string, 2 or 3 color Alpha to start with. And I just love this one! Not TOO many color changes in the pattern and a Cow print is just plain fun! 😍
I am SO doing this once I'm done with my space alpha bracelet, which will probably be today or tomorrow. Either way I will probably start it Thursday or tomorrow!! ^^
