@NutEllah You use the base strings to knot the pattern. In this case my base strings are red ( @pattncraft had a nice tutorial on this 2 tone alpha technique). I made one leading string start at the right (white) and one on the left (blue). The string I did not need (blue or white) I knotted in together with the outer base string. You can see the blue peeking out at the bottom? Hope this makes sense, good luck🍀
