@halpmeplz hey! i am unsure what you mean by "dashes," would you mind please clarifying your question? if you are talking about the straight lines that appear in the grid and knot structure of the pattern, that indicates that there is loose string in the pattern, which you can see in the two photos posted to this pattern. 🙂
