@BronwynB like when you do the ends of an alpha you start by knotting one string onto one string then the next string onto both strings. if you do that the “border(base strings)” will be thicker towards the middle. so in order for the “border” to be even, you would knit one string onto one string and the next string only on the one that was knotted on, all strings on the left will be knotted onto the same string and all strings on the right would be knotted on the same string and only that string. sorry if this is confusing

@BronwynB you end it like it were a alpha keychain except you don’t add on the strings otherwise it’ll get thicker towards the middle you knot onto the outside strings each time, that’s why she said to make the outside strings longer. but i’m not sure if that’s how she does it
