I was confused myself trying to make this pattern with all the uneven colors and the extra color but wanting a loop, I found that Alex's Innovations on youtube has a video on how to make a greek wave, which the string formation similiar to this one. "Beginning Loop with an Odd Number of Strings | Alex’s Innovations"

@ABJ15 for patterns like these, it is easiest to knot them row-by-row. First you do all knots of row 1, then you do all knots of row 2 and so on.

#4847 is a similar alpha pattern.

i love this pattern so much!! it was a lot easier than I thought, but I needed a lot more string than I anticipated. i usually use the length of my arm but I'd say you'd need double (maybe even triple) that. and I also only eneded up making one flower

@N4Life that's a bit difficult to answer. I usually cut my strings to be about 90cm long each. I'm not sure, if this is ideal for this pattern, but I think they will definitely be long enough.

@annaa22 this bracelet has 15 individual strings: 8 individual strings of colour a and 7 individual strings of colour b.
I recommend watching MashaKnots' video on how to read normal patterns.
