@ella05 I do the same thing as awesome if I don’t use bobbins. I would wrap an entire skein around my fingers and then cut if when it’s done that way I don’t have any extra thread that can’t be used again.
@ella05 If the bobbins aren’t cooperating I would wind the string around two of my fingers then wrap the remainder of the string in the middle of the loops.
I really want to make this pattern but when I add another color It turns so bumpy. But I tried to flat alpha technique and it didn't work. Is there another way I can make it less bumpy? 🤔
@Bellaxmxe for my base strings I did them fairly short since they aren’t being used to knot with. For the background colors I use bobbins and don’t cut them so I don’t waste any string. I just tape them to the side and when I’m finished I cut them.
