I love this pattern and it was super fun to make! I’m sad though because I ran out of background string so I had to cut the pattern short which you will see once my photo is approved 🙁
@Reva10 it says 16 strings because it includes the leading string. So for this one, there are 15 base strings and the one leading string to start off. This is how all alpha patterns are on BraceletBook
@Reva10 I think it happens with all alpha patterns because I try to make one of my first alphas and I did 14 strings instead of 13 and I messed the whole thing up so I gave up on it.
@lauragneco@BellaCraft This is an alpha pattern and all the knots are only made onto base strings. If you haven't made an alpha before you might want to practice with a simpler pattern or one using less colors first. There's a video tutorial link at the top of the generated knot structure image that shows the general idea how to make alpha patterns. 🙂
