I love this pattern, but if you want the blue in the triangles on the edges to show, make sure to use the straight edges technique, since there's no blue knots on the edges in the pattern.
@sourmoon I look at the pattern and look how much the sting is used. In this case the blue isn't used that much so I cut shorter. On average I cut per color half a wingspan length. But in this case I did a loop so I cut a wingspan length and fold that in half to create 2 strings. I made the blue string a little shorter here bc it's not used that much but the orange and white are used more so I cut them a little longer like 5-10 cm to be sure. I kept de rest at the normal wingspan length. 🙂
