You are correct @-avarxse- 🙂 You don't need to add extra threads for the straight edge technique @doraemon if you look at the first and the last knots on each odd number row: 1, 3, 5 etc (the rows with the most knots), the knots are made between strings of the same color throughout the pattern. To get a straight edge, just remember to change the first knot to a bf and the last knot to fb on those odd rows 1,3,5...

@doraemon You can just change all the strings on the sides to bf knots if it’s in the left and fb knots of its on the right I think
