@potato2o Alpha patterns are pretty easy to follow. The white strings in the back are called base strings, you dont see them in the pattern, so you can use any color you want. The colors you see for the design (black, white, orange, purple,and white) are called weaving strings, and you use those to make the design itself.

To make your first row, look at the first horizontal line. Make 2 forward knots for each dot you see on the lines. Go row by row until you are finished. If you want to change colors, move the thread to the back and put another one forward.

I hope this makes sense. If you need more help, i recommend going on youtube and looking at the channels "Masha Knots", "kinsey b", and "Beyond Bracelets"

Just for everyone to know, I made the strings 1 ft each, left 4 inches at the top for one of the ties, made the pattern, which is 4 inches, and there will be 4 inches at the end for the bottom tie. Hope this helps

@lexieknots if ur asking how long the final result will be, my alpha bracelets with 51 rows are about 4 1/2 inches but not the braids or hoop included just the pattern : D
